Her career spans over 20 years, from when she toured as Mella Faye and the Big Band from 1999-2002.  I found a contact for Mella and emailed her, however as of yet I have not received a reply.  This was the email I sent her:  Hello Mella,  My name is Emily ƚliwka. Promotional Statement Reflection

Image
After receiving feedback from my peers, I found that the general viewpoint was that although I showed some confidence in my statement, I was lacking in confidence through voice, specifically through volume and intonation. When I revise my statement I will make sure to speak loudly and clearly, and use more intonation and verbal accentuation to show my enthusiasm. I was  also told I needed to be more engaging in my body language and facial expressions, so to improve on this I will make sure to smile and use more open body language to draw attention. I also found that I needed more detail in my statement, specifically in my areas of experience, so I will be sure to change his by adding in more clarification such as the names of productions and groups.  When filming my revised statement I found that I was able to put more intonation and emphasis into my words which I thought made the video more attention grabbing, however I was unable to successfully chang...
